How to become a Member:

To join as a member, simply fill out the membership application Form.

Once your application is approved, a passbook with receipt of entry fee

will be issued to you as a new member.

Health- sector personnel not exceeding fifty-five years (55 years) of age are eligible for membership of the MOHEMC Society

 

Documents Required for Membership:

● ID Card/ Passport

● Recent Payslip ( as proof of employment/income)

● Payable Fee: Rs 300 ( Entrance fee: Rs 200 + Shares: Rs 100)

● Nominee / Beneficiary Documents (Either ID proof or Birth Certificate)

Subscription of members to make it active:

  • Subscription Fee : Rs 300

  • Re application of new Pass Book : Rs 50

Hours Of Operation

 

Monday - Friday: 8: 00 am - 1600 hrs

Saturday - 8: 00 am - Noon

All payments should be made at the cashier’s office during official business hours,

from 8: 30 AM and 2: 30 PM on weekdays.

 

MOHEMC Society assigns a clerical Officer to each Regional Hospital to ensure the provision of accessibility and community-based support as the Ministry of Health is

recognised as an essential service.

LOAN PROCEDURES

Loan Approval Criteria

 

● Loans are issued to members upon completion of six months of active membership.

● Loans issued at an interest rate of 1% per month, calculated on a diminishing balance basis.

● Members are eligible to receive loans up to 4 times the value of their Share Capital. For example, a member with a share Capital of Rs.100,000 may qualify for a loan of up to Rs. 400,000.

● The maximum loan repayment term shall be determined based on the member’s age, the loan amount and their repayment capacity.

 

Documentation Required for Loan Application:

● Identity Card

● Proof of Address

● Recent Payslip

● Bank account number

 

Two Sureties for loan up to Rs 400 000

Three Sureties for Loan as from Rs 500 000

Free Insurance coverage for Loan in case of Death
